60 YEARS OLD

    Mang Arthur was alone in his home because his wife and children had left him. He often begs for alms from people he sees on the street so he can eat every day. He has Pneumonia and also has liver problems.

MINERVA F. SOLOMOM

63 YEARS OLD

    Lola Minerva lives with her son Bryan who works in a factory near our barangay. Grandma Minerva can no longer walk after having a stroke 3 years a go.

RODOLFO RETA

66 YEARS OLD

    Mang Rodolfo is also alone in his rented house like Mang Arthur. Only recently we heard of his sudden unconsciousness. I also noticed that he could no longer bathing and changing his clothes because he had difficulty walking. Mang Rodolfo could not walk two years ago after he had a stroke. He had also eyes problem.

65 YEARS OLD

    Lola Leti lives with her youngest daughter Belen in a rented house in our barangay. Grandma Leti used to be a fish vendor but due to an accident she had a broken bone in her hip. Without her quad cane, she could not walk.

62 YEARS OLD

    Grandma Tesi was already struggling as a child because of her having polio which caused her not to finish her education. Before the pandemic, she used to go around our barangay every day to sell his soap products but because she had other illnesses, she could no longer help his husband with their daily groceries and medicines.

MARIETA MAMARIL

69 YEARS OLD

    Grandma Marieta, or better known as "Ate Bebe", lives in their home with her grandson MJ. Ate Bebe used to go around our barangay to sell her food but because she had a stroke for the second time, she couldn't even speak. She couldn't even stand in the chair so she always just stared outside their house.
